3 Things About Maria: Gemini – Lived in Greece in a Past Life – One of the best home cooks ever!!
Once called the ‘Tiger’ of the insurance industry, Maria changed her tune and reinvented herself as one of the plant rental industry’s leaders, with very little experience, a lot of common sense and a great deal of gusto!
While plants were in her blood, having many family members in the plant retailing industry, Maria never fully explored her family legacy until acquiring her first plant rental & maintenance company. Since then, she has used her plethora of managerial experience to grow the business and the brand from strength to strength helping lead it from purely a rental company to a hub for rentals, retailing and recently launched wellness centre.
Officially retired, Maria, an unofficial workaholic, still returns to the shop for a few hours everyday to get her daily dose of natural chlorophyll and vitamin D and to help keep her youthful outlook on life!

In her and her family’s journey to move away from big pharma drugs, Sian discovered the world of herbs and their many uses and benefits to us. She is helping to pull the Rain Tree Wellness Centre’s voyage into the world of herbs together.
Sian concluded her Masters in Small and Medium Enterprise Management at Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business after attaining her undergrad at University of Westminster, London. She is interested in bringing the knowledge behind the plants to her customers, a website with care instructions for plants and soon for the use of herbs. She is now at the helm of the plant shop and rental companies with the support of Maria and Sean.

Currently working on attaining his PhD, Sean lends his vast knowledge of all things communication and HR to both companies. An avid traveller, linguaphile and lover of life, Sean lends his vast experiences from travels and studies in culture to help diversify and grow the outlook, people and brands associated with The Plant People Limited and Rain Tree Plant & Wellness Centre. Sean is the main contributor to the Rain Tree Tea House and hopes to get it back up and running as his contribution to helping us have an open, organic space in which we can chill out, relax and reconnect with our ‘Mother Earth Chi’.
Also having been in the corporate world, Sean is affectionately known as a ‘rolling stone’ gathering no moss but lots of friends, experiences and accolades

Zidane at first has a quiet and helpful disposition, as the main face of the sales floor at Rain Tree Plant & Wellness. But once you get to know him, you will realize that he appreciates the grace and wonder of Mother Nature and is always up for a good laugh.
A ‘new’ member to the team, and relatively young, Zidane nevertheless lends his experience to his position with a sense of calm and zen.
